Zanoba was established to encourage community to document, preserve and enjoy our traditional and culture in our respective communities in Zambia.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Zanoba Nkhanga Library Branch has so far achieved the following:

NURSERY SCHOOL

The Nkhanga Library has a Nursery School with total enrolment of 21 Girls 18 Boys total 39. The Nursery School is doing well in line with school performance. The Bank recruited 2 male and female volunteer teachers supervised by Madam Phelire Zimba supported by Banda Robert-the Board Secretary.

PRODUCTION UNIT

Zanoba in order to sustain its services the Bank has a field of sunflower where the Bank anticipate the income after sale (proceeds) to meet administrative costs.

PUBLIC SERVICE

Zanoba provides services to other organizations such as, Cooperatives, Marion Medical Mission (MMM) – Shallow wells, Churches, Govt. Schools and Football and Netball Community clubs within Nkhanga. Zanoba collaborates well with these mentioned organizations.

The board is in function and has in place Library attendance Register, Visitors Book and financial records.

So far 135 Beneficiaries of which 35 female and 100 male have been serviced since January 2015.

Organizations that came for the service are 11 in total since January 2015.

CHALLENGES

With limited resources Zamoba faces financial problem to meet the planned activities.
